If you have old silver fillings you’d like replaced, we use a safe amalgam removal protocol. What dental insurance do you accept?
We accept Florida Medicaid and work with most PPO dental plans and most Medicare Advantage plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, Aetna, Cigna, Guardian, Humana, United Concordia and Florida Blue. We file your claims for you. Call us with your member ID and we’ll verify your benefits before your first visit. See the full list on our insurance & financing page.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. We accept Florida Medicaid dental plans for children and adults, along with most PPO and Medicare Advantage plans. Bring your Medicaid card and we’ll confirm what your plan covers before treatment. No insurance? Ask about our $88 new patient special, in-office savings options and financing.
Can I be seen the same day for a dental emergency?
Yes. We keep time open for emergencies Monday through Friday. Call (305) 705-2748 as early as you can. The emergency consult (exam only) is free, and we’ll tell you your options and costs before any treatment. More on our emergency dentist page.
What does “holistic” or “biological” dentistry mean at your office?
It means we look at how dental treatment affects your whole body, not just one tooth. We’re a mercury-free practice, we offer safe removal of old silver (amalgam) fillings, we use biocompatible, metal-free materials where possible, and we respect preferences such as fluoride-free care. Do you see children?
Yes. We’re a family practice and see kids, teens, adults and seniors, so the whole family can book back-to-back visits at one office.
What happens at my first visit?
Plan on about 90 minutes. You’ll fill out a few forms, then we take X-rays and photos, screen your gums and check for signs of oral cancer. Dr. B reviews everything with you. When possible, we can start treatment the same day. See new patients for details.
