General dentistry is everything that keeps your teeth and gums healthy day to day: exams, cleanings, X-rays, fillings and early treatment of gum disease. It’s also where problems are caught early — a small cavity treated now is a quick filling; left alone, it can become a root canal or a crown.

Family dentistry for kids and teens

We’re a family practice, so children are welcome. Early, positive visits make kids comfortable with the dentist for life. We check how teeth are coming in, clean and polish, and teach brushing and flossing in a way kids actually remember. Because we’re mercury-free, children receive the same biocompatible materials as adults.

Care for adults and seniors

As we age, gum health, dry mouth from medications, worn fillings and missing teeth become bigger concerns. We look at all of it and prioritize what matters most for your comfort and your health. When a tooth needs more than a filling, we can place a crown or talk through implants and dentures in the same office.

Your mouth and your overall health

Research has linked gum disease with other health conditions, including diabetes and heart disease. Healthy gums are part of a healthy body — that’s the idea behind our holistic approach. If you manage a chronic condition, let us know so we can plan your cleanings and checkups around it.

How often should you come in?

Most people do well with a checkup and cleaning every six months. If you have gum disease, a history of frequent cavities or other risk factors, we may suggest visits every three or four months. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your mouth, not a one-size-fits-all rule.

Medicaid for kids and adults

We accept Florida Medicaid dental plans. Children under 21 have comprehensive coverage, including checkups, cleanings, sealants, fillings and other needed care. Adult Medicaid dental coverage focuses on exams, X-rays, extractions, dentures and relief of pain; some plans also cover cleanings and fillings with approval. We’ll verify your benefits before your visit.

Family dentist or pediatric dentist?

Pediatric dentists focus only on children, including kids with special needs or very complex treatment. A family dentist sees every age, which makes it easy to book the whole family at once and stay with the same office as kids grow up. Most children do very well with a family dentist; if your child needs specialty care, we’ll refer you.

How often do you need dental X-rays?

It depends on your risk. Many adults with healthy teeth need bitewing X-rays about once a year or less, and a full set every few years. Kids and people with frequent cavities may need them more often. We take only the X-rays your care actually requires.
