01 — Our dentist
Led by Dr. Shanna Bernkrant, DMD
Dr. B trained at Boston University for both her undergraduate and dental degrees and completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency in San Antonio, Texas. She has made biological dentistry her passion — delivering the least toxic, least invasive care possible — while providing the full range of general, restorative and cosmetic treatment.

Dr. Peter Epstein, DMD
Boston University-trained dentist practicing in South Florida since 1980. Provides the full range of care, with a special focus on cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and computer-guided implants.

Nova Southeastern University-trained dentist with an interest in cosmetic dentistry and implants. Speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.

What makes our office different
We keep things simple and transparent. Before any treatment, you’ll see your X-rays and photos, hear your options in plain language and get cost estimates with your insurance benefits applied. If something can safely wait, we’ll tell you.
A mercury-free, biological practice
Every new filling we place is tooth-colored composite. We offer safe amalgam removal for old silver fillings, ozone therapy as an adjunct to treatment, latex-free gloves, BPA-free composite on request and fluoride-free options for patients who prefer them.
One office for most of your needs
Cleanings and checkups, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canals, implants, dentures, whitening and same-day emergency care — all at 18360 NW 7th Ave. When a case truly needs a specialist, we coordinate the referral for you.
Straightforward about cost
We accept Medicaid and most PPO and Medicare Advantage dental plans, file claims for you and offer financing and in-office savings options. New patients can start with our $88 new patient special.
We see patients from across North Miami-Dade and South Broward, including Miami Gardens, Opa-locka, Miami Lakes, Carol City, Norland, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura and Hialeah. Our office is on NW 7th Avenue near NW 183rd Street (Miami Gardens Drive).
